Zinc oxide has been used as a mineral skin protectant for over 2,000 years — from Egyptian medicine to Indian Ayurveda. Its physical barrier reflects UV before it reaches the skin.
Modern formulation gets tricky on Indian skin — most mineral SPF leaves a chalky white cast. We use micronized zinc oxide + tinted iron oxides to invisibly match medium-to-deep skin tones.
Zinc oxide is non-nano and pharma-grade. Niacinamide is fermented (not petroleum-derived), 99.6% pure. Avocado oil from the same Coorg coop as our night cream.
